The Second International Conference and Exhibition “Facing the Future on Architecture” in Belgrade, Serbia hosted the work of architecture students from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. PLANFAB printed most of their models! Check them out..
Arsenios Zachariadis, decided to go with Polyamide powder in order to achieve a good result, since his model was very thin and delicate. Afterwards, he cladded the back of his model with a thin layer of gold.
Nikolaos Xenos and Kyriaki Goti presented a model made out of Full Color Sandstone. Their design was thick enough to be produced in that material. Furthermore, this is the best choice for such application because of its clean and crisp surface quality.
Niki Papacharalampous, followed the choice of her colleague A.Z. and chose the Polyamide powder for her model. It was a natural choice, since her model had complicated geometry with thin parts and many overhangs.
Congrats guys… This is an excellent way to utilize the 3d printing technology!!
